We typically promote American made as a way to create (and save) jobs for Americans, but did you know buying American made is also better for the planet!  Watch the trailer and then read our 3 reasons as to why buying American made is better for the Earth. 

"McKinsey research shows that the sector was responsible for some 2.1 billion metric tons of greenhouse-gas (GHG) emissions in 2018, about 4 percent of the global total. To set that in context, the fashion industry emits about the same quantity of GHGs per year as the entire economies of France, Germany, and the United Kingdom combined."

Buying American made is a great way for the fashion industry to reduce GHGs being emitted and be more Earth friendly!

1. This would reduce the waste emitted by the large ships crossing the oceans every day! Nearly 98% of apparel sold in the USA is foreign made so there is A LOT of opportunity here for Americans to do our part by supporting local American made products as opposed to having items shipped around the world.
   
   
2. American made items are often of higher quality and last longer which means reduced waste going to landfills.
   
   
3. Manufacturing in America requires higher environmental standards, which means we can’t just go dumping waste water and trash anywhere we want. Many other countries don’t carry the same standards, watch the video below to see what other countries are getting away with.
