Some jean companies use 'vanity' sizing, they will tag their jean a 34" waist but the actual measurement will be 36" to 37". All American Clothing will be a little more 'true' to size. We tag the jean with a 34" tag and the actual measurement will be 34.5" to 35.5" (to allow for any shrinkage). Please measure a pair of jeans you currently like to wear and use that measurement to order our jeans.
I really like your company because of the absolute commitment to US production. But, the quality has to be present too! You had these jeans right in the very first version. It's time to go back to that.
I need the 100% cotton in the AA Revolution 2014 and of course fully US made!
The current version is more of a mixture: 86% cotton, 13% polyester and 1% spandex, this has noticeably detracted from the look and feel of the product. The blue dye used come off as a much deeper blue, trending almost to a purplish-blue color. The dye is more uniform, making the jeans look less like a jean and more like a solid blue pair of slacks. There is no sanding effect at all that I can tell. They do not feel nearly as jean-like as the previous versions, the soft comfortability is gone. The bottom line is this version of the jeans looks and feels more like a pair of slacks masquerading as a jean.
I am a long-time fan of this jean design, but will not be buying any more of this version in hopes that AAC may go back to the cotton-heavier denim.
