After struggling to find comfortable, high-quality sportswear, Joel Wiens (founder of WSI) had an idea for a better type of garment.  He combined high-tech wicking materials with thin, light padding to increase performance and comfort while playing sports OR enjoying any other outdoor activities such as running, hunting and skiing.

WSI's sportswear performs so well and is of such high-quality that even those in professional sports started to take notice. The San Francisco 49ers wore custom-made WSI clothing to take on the Green Bay Packers in a 2014 playoff game in sub-zero temperatures, "and raved about it so much,"notes Wiens, "that the word got around with equipment managers." The Seattle Seahawks suited up in WSI layers for Super Bowl XLVIII, and so did the New England Patriots in last year's frigid playoff games. Teams in the NHL, MLB, NFL, along with high schools and colleges, are using WSI technology to gain an edge. Most recently, the New York Mets wore WSI apparel during the 2015 World Series.

All American Clothing is proud to carry several items from WSI, including their Microtech Short Sleeve and Long Sleeve tees, Arctic WikMax Long Sleeve Shirt and Arctic WikMax Pants.  The short sleeve tees are GREAT For summer, they keep you cool and wick away moisture better than many other shirts on the market.  The Arctic WikMax line is an excellent base layer that will keep you warm during those cold winter months. So if you are going to spend much time outdoors this winter (hunting, skiing, shoveling snow, etc...) make sure you have your Arctic WikMax line of clothing handy.
