American Pastimes: Taking A Sunday Drive

Remember the days when it was common for a man to get out the hot rod for a Sunday drive?

Cruising on a Sunday was once a very popular tradition in the United States. Men and their classic cars would take their girlfriends, wives, and/or families on a car ride each Sunday. This really was a manly thing to do! The goal was to not go anywhere particular, but to drive around and share time together. Maybe they would stop to get a milk shake or share a few laughs. Some would take a drive after church on Sundays. Sunday drives became popular around the time that the automobile was becoming an item in every household. Well-paved roads were starting to become more readily available. It was really a fun time. Nowadays, you may see folks with classic cars doing this but anyone can take a Sunday drive in any car.

We recommend trying in made in USA clothing items! It is quite fun... and comforting!
