The soft outer shell & micro fleece liner is laminated with a film that provides water protection, not waterproof. The outer shell is also treated with flouro carbon finish or more commonly known as DWR or durable water-repellent finish, which means having a finish that resists but does not entirely prevent the penetration of water.
