Winter has been mild here in the midwest this year. However, the times it was cold and I wore this beanie, it has been a gift from the heavens. It is very warm, sometimes too much. That's the point, right? It is 100% acrylic but it is not scratchy like an acrylic sweater. It almost feels like an all cotton hat. I bought the one with the cuff as it is easier to adjust. How can you beat a $10 American made beanie?
